My aim was to explore how these technologies might reshape both professional practices and patients&#8217; experiences within the fertility field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unexpectedly, within the project&#8217;s first year, time-lapse technology became one of the prominent &#8216;fertility add-ons.&#8217; This shift in focus prompted new research inquiries: How is medical knowledge formed and validated? What role does evidence play in patients&#8217; decisions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a fantastic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qmul.ac.uk\/busman\/research\/research-centres\/opprg\/remakingthehumanbody\/team\/\">team<\/a> of researchers, we&#8217;ve delved into these questions, <a href=\"https:\/\/remakingfertility.sbm.qmul.ac.uk\/index.php\/publications\/\">publishing<\/a> extensively and engaging in vibrant <a href=\"https:\/\/remakingthehumanbody.sbm.qmul.ac.uk\/\">discussions<\/a> over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excitingly, in 2023, I received two additional grants to further investigate the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qmul.ac.uk\/remaking-fertility\/buildingbridgesproject\/\">challenges linked to the proliferation of fertility add-ons<\/a> and t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.qmul.ac.uk\/remaking-fertility\/improvingthequalityofinformationinfertilitycare\/\">he quality of information available in this field<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new blog serves as a hub gathering past resources and offering ongoing updates under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qmul.ac.uk\/remaking-fertility\/\">Remaking Fertility<\/a> initiative.
